Custom Photography

For those of you who know me, you already know that I am a perfectionist! As a photographer, I take pride in the quality of images I produce. Some people ask "why is there a fee for the session AND for the prints?" Let me explain... For every photo shoot, I spend an average of 15-20 hours of time from start to finish. My work just begins at the photo shoot, where I travel to a given location, then spend about 1 hour photographing my subject(s). I take my time hand editing every photograph, removing blemishes, adjusting lighting & colors, etc. In many cases, I arrange the finished photos in a slideshow, then set it to music. I put the digital negatives to a disc for my customer to view on their own computer, and copy the slideshow to disc for playback on DVD/computer. Many customers enjoy the ease of viewing their photos in a slideshow, as they watch them come to life with music. Once pre-viewed, I place the desired print order from my preferred, high quality print shop. Though many of the hours spent on my work go without pay, I refuse to compromise quality for quantity. I hope to have given you a little more insight on what I do as a photographer and what Custom Photography is.  Below, you will see a few examples of my "before & after" shots...
